Thoughts on Discretionary Purchase

Have an opportunity to pick up a 1991 K1 with 20,000 miles from original owner. Immaculate, garage kept and adult owned. Needs nothing. $4,200.00.

Will not be replacing anything in my garage; just thought it would be neat to have.

Thoughts? Good price? Not worth it?

Price looks fair considering condition & miles. Looks like fun!

That's a good price.

1) Make sure to check for brake fluid dripping spots under the brake master cylinder. The K1 master cylinder had/has a tendency to leak.

2) Check to see if the update for the excessive engine heat was done.

3) Check the front fender for cracks.

Other than that, enjoy. I know someone selling a red and yellow locally. With 43,000 miles and he is asking $7,500. Way too much in my opinion.
