BMW JM to Autocom

I have recently bought a 2007 Rt to go with my LT. Was considering an Autocom for the RT. Is there a way to adapt my existing headsets from the LT to plug into the Autocomm. My local dealer says that I will need new helmets and headsets from Autocomm as the plugs from the BMW / JM wont adapt to the autocomm?

Why not put a J&M on the RT?
