Does anyone that uses the heat troller find that it last only two or three years? I plugged in my heated gear the other morning and it did not work, no blinking light or any heat. The fuse is good. This is the second heat troller that has broke in 7 years. It is not like I use the thing every day all year. I have the permanent type heat troller mounted next to the headlight adjuster. I have the gerbing jacket liner and gloves. I went to the Gerbing site and noticed that their controllers look different. I will probably will order one from them as I am dissatisfied with heat troller. Does anyone know who makes the heat troller?

Go to www.heattroller.com or www.warmnsafe.com for contact information. The notes suggest email might be the better way to get a prompt response.
Even if it is out of warranty, contact them and see what they can do. I'd tell them I had purchased two products.

There was a series of posts here a few years ago that Gerbing went to a Chinese knock off of the Warm&Safe controller.. I have a Warn&safe and have not had a problem. If you buy a replacement I would suggest that you give them a try this time.

Hey Now, two years ago we had a heavy frost in Jan!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually, we use the Gerbings mostly when we head north to the mountains in order to escape the flat lands for a spell. Also used them a lot on a couple of our trips to the left coast.

The Warm & Safe heat troller has a 5 year warranty, Contact the factory. I've never had anyone return one to me. Very rare to have problems with it.

Sorry that I did not reply sooner, but I have been away on travel. Thanks everyone for their replies. I decided to go with the Gerbing permanent temp controller as a replacement. I will try to find the receipt for the heat troller and send it back to the factoryfor replacement.
