Feel like you're flying low on your LT. Here is a link to a Bernard Zee site. His personal shots of a Curtiss "Jenny", C-47, A-10, F-22, and many more.
Enjoy. http://home.comcast.net/~bzee1b/

I enjoyed - probably more than being there, as my neck can't take all that "looking up". Thanks, Barnett.
Link worked fine for me.

Those shots with Sunrise Mountain in the background bring back a lot of memories.
I was stationed at Nellis for 4 years.

Superb Photos. A UK company, Air Atlantique (http://www.classicflight.com/) still use DC3's for oil spill containment at sea and detergent spraying. The DC3 is the largest aircraft you can fly in the UK on a PPL(with twin rating of course!).

That Texan was a great example. I flew one of those once - not a lot of power 800 h.p., I think, but very agile and forgiving.

Nice pictures!
A little tidbit of info: Look at the pictures of the A-10 and you will see that they paint a darkened "cockpit" area on the bottom of the fuselage to confuse the enemy. When the plane is some distance away they cannot tell if they are looking at the bottom or the top.
I lived in Myrtle Beach when the A-10s were stationed at the Air Force base there. One of my favorite planes to watch fly. Absolutely amazing low speed aerobatic performance.

THANK YOU!!
Some great shots of great birds.
Not sure why, but after seeing those heritage flight shots, gotta go blow my nose.

Thanks for sharing all of those.
As a kid I built models of many of those airplanes. I also grew up around and on Army and AF bases and saw many of them, especially the Vietnam-era planes, on a daily basis. In the 60s we'd do our shopping at Wright-Patterson AFB's commissary and the road went right around the big runway all the B-52s used to and from Vietnam.
I've seen the Thunderbirds do their thing in F-4s, Fs-5, and F-16s. Your pictures were great. There is an especially nice photo of the diamond formation, right to left.
I flew as a passenger in a DC-3 in 1968. It was operated by Korean Airlines. We were living in Japan at the time and went to Korea to visit Army friends. It was the first (and last) time I ever had to walk up (i.e., uphill) the aisle to take a seat on an airplane.
Fond memories. Thanks a bunch.

Great pics, especially the Thunderbirds. A buddy of mine wrenches on them and it's pretty much his dream post. There's some incredible engineering in all of those planes.
