I bought some blank DVD's to record the video from SD cards. I found two kinds; DVD+R and DVD-R what's the difference?

DVD+R (or "plus R") uses a number of improved technologies that supposedly makes a more reliable DVD by being less susceptible to errors than the older DVD-R format. DVD-R came about in the late 1990's, and +R in 2002.

Basically, they are competing DVD recording technologies. Spring for the +R ones if your DVD burner supports it... :D

Thanks Hal

They were the same price. I bought DVD+R. I did my yearly trip to Costco. Can't afford to go there more than once a year
