Question about Marsee Adventure jacket??

I've been doing some online shopping and I am just wondering, does any of y'all own one of these jackets, do you like it, would you recommend it?
Would ya share your opinions please.

Don't get the gray one!

I bought the gray for the IBR because of the light color it was MUCH cooler and perfect for riding on hot days. By the time I got to the start line It was filthy.

I like everything else about the jacket.

How well do the vents work on really hot days, say over 100 degrees?

I'm still searching for a true 4-season jacket, preferably that works in extreme heat but is also waterproof without having to take it off to add an inner liner. I figure Gerbings or equivalent are gonna be better than whatever liner the jacket comes with anyway.

Over 100 degrees, the Marsee Adventure in gray, was better than my black jacket, especially at stop lights but I wish they would have put in longer zippers. There is no zipper under the arm like my Aerostich Roadcrafter has and while they have two zippers in the back, I could not open them while riding. Again, comparing it to the Aerostitch I like the Aerostich back zipper from shoulder to shoulder. When *that* baby is open you know you have air conditioning. You still need a cooling vest, if not an airconditioned room by the pool over 110. I always am a little cold on my arms, in cold weather in the Aerostich though.

I tried the System 2 BMW jacket and it is just too heavy and has way too much going on. Plus they could never get the pants to match it after waiting 2 months I gave up.

I just bought a Kilimanjaro First Gear and I gotta say, it has about every bell and whistle on it. With the liner it is plenty warm with no electric gear down to the forties. For cool to cold weather riding it has been my favorite so far.

A lot of riders like the Aerostich Darien Jacket. That one I have not tried.

I have a question regarding the Kilimanjaro jacket,
does it have the two-way zipper on the front?

I've been using the Joe Rocket Ballistic 3.0 Jacket to ride in 30 to 40 degree weather all I wear under it is a tee shirt and I stay really warm as far the heat (I do live in the devils armpit) I just remove the inner liner and open the arm vents and back vents I have been really happy with the jacket so far.

Hey Ken, Take a peak at RoadGear (http://www.roadgear.com/catalog/index.cfm?Series=1&SeriesTitle=Apparel). I'm looking at Tierra del Fuego, but the Xtreme and Xcaliber look like they would do the trick too. They were at CCR this year.

I too have looked at Roadgear's website and I like what I see, especially the Tierra Del Fuego that's a nice looking jacket.
In the description is does not list a front 2-way zipper.
My current Motoport is a great jacket but I cannot unzip it from the bottom up so it "bulges" up
not only is this uncomfortable but it allows cold air to get under it and when it rains it makes a nice place for water to accumilate so it can run into my crotch.
My next jacket will have a 2-way zipper.
