I have an opportunity to pick up a 2005 K1200LT for about $13,000.
It has all available options and 11,000 miles on it. 1 owner/Like new/spotless and 6 months left on warranty.
Does this sound like a good deal?
Thanks folks,
Steve

Sounds like a good deal to me. Make sure you see all the receipts for prior work, check with the shop that did the work, and BE PREPARED FOR THE COST OF THE 12K SERVICE !!!!!!
Enjoy the ride!

Sounds like a good deal & you have 6 months to take care of any issues it might have.

12K service was about $800.00 for me. That's what motivated me to start doing my own (about $150.00).

Seriously consider purchasing an extended warranty. Hopefully you'll never need it but it will give you peace of mind. I generally don't like extended warranties but with the LT I think it is not a bad idea. I'm not sure of the details but I'd talk to a dealer about the warranty prior to purchasing the bike.
The '05s seem to be pretty good except for a higher than normal failure of the slave cylinder which isn't a big deal by itself but it can contaminate the clutch which is a time consuming or expensive repair.
Good Luck,
Kevin

Sounds great..
Definately go with an extended warranty. I would go with an all inclusive policy such as that offered by Protective Insurance Company. I have the Xtraride Plus policy and it has covered roughly 2500.00 in repairs on my '03 and cost me 700.00.. You need to get it before the warranty expires...
Go for it and ride it home !!!
