I need to do a 36k service on the GS so I broke out the LT for a while.

I rode it down to St. Pete tonight and when I returned home and tried to put her back up on the Center Stand, the CS broke.

I guess it's time to call Beemer Bone Yard.

Hey Dave I just had a good experience with Cycles Recycled.

Going on advice seen here before I called Fred and was quite impressed with his service, attitude and price.

No fancy website but he answered my email within hours and had just what I needed, ready to ship.

I removed the broken center stand this afternoon.

The cross member broke at the weld to the left leg.

Dave,

Have it welded. It cost me $15 to weld mine. Now it is the strongest point on the bike! (I also bought a new one from the Hannigans(?) Trike shop. Keep your eye on Ebay. They pop up every month or so.
