I was aware of the Honda Gold Wing mods for the stator problems which were well known, and I believe the bikes were marked when the changes were made. Usually anyone that sold a bike that had it, informed the buyer it was changed.

Are the LT's marked any where to indicate the weep holes were put in the bike, and if so, where do you look for this. I do not see anything in the service records to indicate this being done.

Thanks!

If you crawl underneath the bike and look up at the bottom of the casting that houses the slave cylinder you can see where the weep hole would be drilled.

Good Luck,
Kevin

Again, not knowing much about this bike, if you can see where the weep hole should be, why does it take five hours to put the hole in the casting? Maybe use a BMW weep hole laser instead of a drill.....

Thanks for the tip! Will have to look for this next week. :)
