I just went through the five pages of archives on the subject, and have not found the video talked about. Is there a link to see an LT being lifted back up? Sure would like to see this being done, the right way. Had two close calls in just the first week already, both at a standstill. Too fubar'd to risk any more injury.

Thanks in advance!

I could probably make you one real quick. I could show how we pick up your downed motors. We drop those from time to time. :)

Remember to use your legs and not your back. Get help. Set in the saddle and walk it up. You will have to bend a little forward to grab a hold of something ie handbar or passenger o'$hit bars. Put it in first gear and put the side stand down if has fallen on the side you can reach it.

There is a very good video on this site on how to pick up the BEAST! It's actually pretty simple. I will search and get back to you if someone doesn't beat me to it.

Ride on..............

You mentioned that it happens at a standstill. I had that happen to me the first week I owned mine. It is most important to have the wheels straight when you get that weight shift from front to back at a stop. If the front wheel is turned a little, say in the direction of the turn you are about to make at a corner, the weight shift back after the complete stop will be in the opposite direction to the turn and in proportion to the speed of the stop. If you are just getting use to the bike and stopped fast the shift will be fast and you will have you hands full.
I tend to move in the lane before I stop so that the front is slightly pointed toward the direction of the turn, but with the wheels straight when I stop. I hope this makes sense. This is the first thing that I have read or written this morning. Good Luck.
