Steve,
I have to do my 60K service, the BMW Inspection @ 12k intervals, valve check, etc. sometime.
Small garage with a lift and heat. Room for only one bike at a time.
Located just across the CT river from Keene, about 2 hrs from you mostly on Rte 101 west.
If you want to come over we can make a tech session out of it.
Send me a PM if you are interested.

Charlie

I'm interested also. As long as the weather permits.
I'm in Connecticut but would definately make a road trip out of it.
I'm due for a 12k service shortly.

We should probably move this thread to the NE Board.
Maybe our friendly moderator will jump it there for us.

I am happy to host a session.
I could dedicate a full day to the event, and provide brew and grub.
Because the garage is small (room for only one bike) and my usual approach to a 12K service takes me several hours it is unlikely that other bikes would get time on the lift expecially if I have to change valve buckets (which I expect to).

So this would be on the order of a "lunch and learn" for those who would like to see a full service done, but unless you want to work outside on a gravel drive (I do have carpet remnants to work on) and risk the elements you probably won't get much done on your own bikes.

If that is of interest to folks, then I will entertain suggestions as to a Sat or Sun that works for people. I am available most weekends.

There are folks in CT (aka Beemer Biker Dudes) whom I believe have held tech sessions in the past. Someone undoubtly has a garage bigger than mine which will host a couple or few bikes at a time. Maybe someone in the flatlands of New England will chime in here.

I'd be delighted to do a lunch and learn but I just don't have the facilities to offer up indoor work space for multiple bikes. Gotta build that garage.

Just could have done a "replace your rear brake rotor" session, had I known. Of course, I'm not sure Telle would have liked several guys hanging around the oven, watching the parts cook....

My better half never said a word when I turned the originally white interior of our dishwasher grey having washed a bunch of R90S parts in there.
She didn't say a word.
But I did buy her a new dishwasher. :)

Other kitchen invasions:
Parts in the freezer.
Transmission parts in the oven (ever smelled gear lube heated to 250 degrees F ?
Fumigated the kitchen spray painting parts under the fume hood. The over-spray coated the back-splash, the stove top, and adjacent counter tops.

How does Grif put it? The "magnificant." Yeah, I got one of those too.

Addendum: My better have will put up some pretty good munchies if anyone is interested in a tech session sometime this fall.

I would be interested in watching Curtis work... :)

Of course I now only have the vastly simpler RT to work on.
