Anyone using and or have mounted a Magellan Crossover GPS on their LT? We bought this for car use (didn't have or intend to own any bike at that point), probably not well suited for MC, but better than nothing. It is WX proof. Had a good enough mount when used on RT, but the LT is entirely different matter. Any reason not to use electric ties for home mount to the handlbars?

Thanks in advance!

Taking a few hours to look this over, it appears I could use the self adhesive disc provided with the car mount, and stick that to instrument panel, just to the right side of the tach, and above the temp gage. Anyone know any reason not to install the GPS in this position? I can still see the tach to 6k, everything is clear. Just not sure if it would put any pressure on the instrument face, that might cause any problem down the road. I would prefer that to any handlebar mount.

Thanks in advance!

I have a Magellan Crossover GPS that I mount on a 2005 LT. The bike has the factory mount on stingray. I just took off the mount fairing piece and bolt on the magellan adapter from the rear onto the mount. Since the Crossover GPS has a battery that is good for app. 8 hours I just place it in the mount and go. For longer trip I adapted the car power source to plug into the powerlet outlet. I will post a couple of pictures if that will help.
