Fredericksburg Meet: 10/14 - 10/16

I understand the annual Houston LT riders are meeting in Fredericksburg on the weekend of the 14th (at least I think this is correct). What are the typical activities there other than shopping and over eating?

I haven't a clue - but! try emailing/calling Bob Seekely - I know they are headed over from Houston. If you go to the URL in his profile on the old site, calling that number dropped me straight into his vm. If you need help reaching him, ping me offline - they (Bob and Gabrielle) seemed primed to go and have been before so can give you the 4-1-1.

Hi Al,
Actually the event you're referring to is the annual rally put on by the BMW Club of Houston. This will be the 35th year. The rally is not limited to LTs, though I'll be riding mine there, nor to BMWs, though most of the riders there will be on Beemers. Most people arrive on Friday. On Saturday, there will be a poker run (about 150 miles), field events, a bike show, etc. -- the usual kinds of rally events. In addition, there will be a GS run and a "little run" of about 100 miles. As DPScott has posted earlier, you can go to www.bmwclub.org, to the Annual Rally page, for more information and to download a registration form. I believe pre-registration is about closed, but could be wrong. Check the website for the details. The registration fee covers Friday and Saturday evening meals and entry into the Poker Run. Prizes will be given for various things including $100 to the winner of the Poker Run. Hope to see you there. [smile]
