Adding pic to signature? E-mail activation?

I've serached the forums on this and found one thread vaguely explaining how this is done. Their method is not working for me. I'm trying to add my "States Visited" map, which I've saved as a file on my desktop. How do I get it on my signature line?

Also, I can't seem to activate my e-mail account. I just signed up yesterday as a "GOLD" member.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have to post your map online in order to share it in your signature.

Just go to the Gallery and upload the image.
Then get the link from the gallery page.

Now go to your UserCP and edit your sig.
Add an image using the url from the gallery and your done.
