I am not sure it would withstand using it as a club on the heads of people...

We tried one out here in Charlotte. They are very expensive, and they dont give off a really good light. They have an option of sending a signaal back to the video in the car. We did not see an advantage. We tested it with the traffic team and the SWAT guys and Vice Detectives. No one was interested. Nice idea but not really very pratical, especially if you have a digital camera in the car already. Just my 2 cents.
