Did you call the hotel reservation line?
Did you call the hotel directly?
Did you use the online reservation system?
I'd do this as a poll, but I wanted to get comments about the experience you had with reservations. Thanks.
I used the online reservation system and it was very easy.

I called the Zermatt Reservation line 866-937-6288. I spoke with a Beth. The experience was very good. She was the one that made comment that we must be attending the CCR (never did ask for the confirmation number). She went over the amenities of the property. Overall, it was a very good experience. Received the hotel confirmation within minutes of finishing the call.

I followed the directions in the e-mail I received containing my Registration Confirmation number and called the hotel using the number in the e-mail.

I used carrier pigeon. Cheap, easy, but a leetle time consuming. When all was done, just a small fire and a couple of tortillas finished the tasked.

I called the toll free number given and spoke with Heidi. She was great, told me the differences in the rooms and made suggestions. She did not ask for a confirmation number either.

Called yesterday and spoke with Amy (I think). Very helpful and pleasant to talk with. Wanted a room with a kitchenette but they had all been reserved. She said the staff was looking forward to our visit next year.

Just like Doug says here: no request for a CCR confirmation number even when I offered it up. Otherwise, no glitches.
ONLY 10 more months to go!
