I just purchased a Garmin 2610 GPS and motorcycle adapter kit. Does anyone have any experience in mounting this unit on a K1200LT. Looking for some ideas.I have all winter to figure it out
Thanks in advance. :D

Get a co-pilot shelf from raffy, it will also block the glare on the windshield from the dash lights. you can also mount other items to it.

Some more pics here (http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=95725&postcount=18) from mine, if it helps. I like the shelf position, you keep your eyes on the road and only needs a glance to check the GPS. Audio to Autocomm sorted itself out, all works great. Have fun with the install.
