If you are talking about the footpeg lowering kit to move the front pegs down one inch and forward one inch they can be bought at any BMW dealer or Suburban Machinery,

If you do get the Suburban lowered pegs I would highly recommend getting the Ilium Works brake pedal and shifter extender as well. This will set you back around $125.00 but you will like the improvement in your position as the original brake pedal will feel too inward and too short. The shifter will also feel too inward until you add the little extension thingie...:bmw:

Have been looking at these. Do they change the dynamics of the LT in a curve -- that is, do the newly-lowered pegs scrape more? too often? Is there a downside to this product?

I have lowered my pegs and it is way better for my legs but it does scrape more and in a different way. The pegs in the normal postion scrape and will bend back but no big deal. The extenders have a lowering part that the peg attaches to and when the peg scrapes this extension also moves back and then grabs the pavement and tends to hop the wheel, scarry the first time it happens.

Yes, they scrape a lot sooner than stock. How often depends on how you ride. Some people prefer the extra comfort, and some want to maintain maximum lean angle. It's your choice as to which is more important.

I have had lowered pegs for a little over a year now with no problems. I admit that I do not ride as aggressively as some others and have not had a problem with scraping them. They do allow for your legs to be just a little less bent and therefore more comfortable during longer rides. Installation is a snap.
