That's the bad news....good news is it is only for one day! My last day at my old job is tomorrow.

Start my new gig on Thursday.

Now, all I want for Christmas is for all YOU guys to go out and spend yer money on new homes so I can stay gainfully employed!!! Heh, heh...

MY Thanksgiving included the new job, but more importantly, Linda feelin better with her new tune-up...new grandbabies with a new one on the way...and that long forgotten art of PLAYING...yeah, you know like "Hide-and-Seek"...been doin that all weekend with Gator (at 11 months!). Hope I never grow up again...

Dick,
Now that sounds really cool. I will be a few years meself in relocating up in the mountains. Got to find the perfect spot to build that cabin on the lake and use it about 50/50 while hangin out here around the grandkids.

Soooooo...when yer ready, I should be up to snuff on the skinny and should be able to pass along the info yer gonna need. I just happen to know of some land somewhere's north of.....shhhh...tmgs might be listening...

BITE ME! ya'll stay away from these here mountains till i find a place! <grin>,

I have never seen such a PITA place to settle a deal on a house before, 4 have fallen through now, mainly becuase someone doesn't feel like doing any work, either the stupid owners or the lazy realtors.

two would not pass finaincing with anyone , one was because of ten minutes wirth the water easment rights
Sheesh, it ain;t never going to sell

I am happy for you and your new job!.

I moved to a new (old, 13 year old) house last week (including Thanksgivings Day - still no network working there) and my body tells me that I am getting too damm old for this kind of busines.

My realtor is a jewel of a million karats at least. The only thing Emily and I had to do was to show up at the title company and sign one thousand papers.

Glad to hear you and Linda are doing good.
