After feasting on Thursday and doing work around the house on Friday and Saturday, Sunday was my day to ride. Left home around 7:30, it was cloudy and 30 degrees. The first leg of my ride was a little over 100 miles where I was to meet my sons and others for breakfast in Warrenton at 9:00. Got there about 9:15 a few minutes behind my sons. After breakfast my sons (Keith and Shane), Jaemi and myself headed to Luray on Rt 211. In warm weather Rt 211 across the mountain is packed with crouch rockets, but today the road was all ours. It was a great ride over the mountain and curves were clean except for a little salt in a few. In Luray we took 675 west over another mountain with more great curves and an overlook of Page county, then headed to Front Royal on 678 and 55 where we then headed back to Maryland on Rt 340.
