Just a giggle from here in France, just sold my 1984 K100RT with 1 052 802km on the clock (658,001 miles)... :bmw: does this qualify for any high mileage awards? :rolleyes:also for mileage munchers, I had a 75 R90S from 1977 to 2001, which clocked up over 1 409 688Km in 14 years (881,055 miles) OH! those weekends away in Europe, especially with a 52litre Heinrich fuel tank!!

Two bikes with more than 1.5 million miles combined. http://www.bigbikeworld.com/forum/smileys/smiley3.gif That's AMAZING! http://www.sport-touring.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/clap.gif
You're an animal!
So, how many miles on your current bikes?

Joe:
Your days must be filled with emoticon shopping as each forum posting you do has new and exciting gifs.
Additionally, congrats. I see your back on the law abiding side of the forum with your green rating box. BTW, I always enjoy your replies.

I want to know who bought your bike with over a million kms on it.
I have a few items I could interest him in :D
Seriously though that is the highest mileage I have ever heard of. How about some details. you must have done a huge amount of work on thosw bikes to keep them going so far.

My tech calls the boxer motor, "the million-mile motor". As long as you do regular maintenance, he says they're pretty much bullet-proof. That's probably not news here...but this thread certainly does bring some validity to the table.
