Visited HERE (http://motorcyclemuseum.org/) yesterday with some CLUB (http://www.bmwmoc.org/) members for a FFR (Fall Foliage Ride) with out the foliage yet. It's in the Columbus, OH suburb of Pinkerington.

Interesting place although it is more centered on Moto Cross sport. Learned that BSA bikes were from the Birmingham Small Arms company in the UK and that Bruce Brown of "Endless" summer" surfing fame directed "On Any Sunday" which developed into a period bike FILM (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/On_any_sunday) featuring Steve McQueen & Malcolm Smith HERE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/On_any_sunday) who still has a gotta see store in Riverside CA. Seems McQueen was the major financial investor . . just for the fun of it.

A great day for riding with friends and then taking the twisties through central OH back to the "North Coast"

Hey Paul,

Not that I could have met you guys there (we worked on the house project all day yesterday) but a trip to the AMA museum is always a good reason for a trip to Columbus/Pickerington.

It was a last minute thing and based on the clearing weather on this end I decided to go . . . Friday evening.

I'll call next time I'm in the hood!
