You mean they sped it up, just like that trick they do with he flowers when they open? Never seen a flower opening that fast.

Interesting how the fire plume seemed brighter around the intake valve.. a combination of cooler area and/or fuel droplets?

yes, several times. had to be quick to tighten down the valves after putting the head back on. oil every were. chevy 235 cid 350 cid. no more engine repair except for the LT.
