Any Off Roaders Out There That Know KTM??

I need some help identifying a motorcycle. I have the wonderful task :( of selling off my best friends belongings and I have no background in off road to know a KTM form a Honda. Can you guys send me in the right direction to get enough info on this bike in order to offer it for sale. I know that it is an old MX bike....

Contact your local KTM dealer or KTM corporate. Looks old school early 80's

Their new dirt bikes are much better engineered than any Japaneese dirt bike. They just don't have the budget to afford lil' Ricky Carmichael.

that's either a late model penton or an early model KTM. looks like a 250.

i campaigned a penton 175 jackpiner in the early/mid 70s with a KTM engine. great hare scrambler and decent motocross bike. shortly after that penton went out of biz and KTM started building bikes independently. i'd guess that bike is from that era ... late 70s/early 80s.
