Simple. Take it back to your dealer and make them fix it under warranty.
I believe in filing warranty claims for every one of these types of failures. That's part of the feedback loop to let BMW know that they have engineering/assembly issues to sort out. And the more money it costs them, the faster they will take care of the problems. That's just normal business sense, and one of the few ways consumers have to affect things (unless you'd rather sell the GT and buy an FJR of C-14 :)).
