Panorama shot taken of the canyon behind our place. Red oaks and sumacs have turned red. Spanish oaks are yellow, fixing to drop leaves. Dayam mountain cedars are always green - I have a lot more chopping to do. Left of center is Highway 46 down in the valley (west of Boerne proper).

Nice, Dave. Thanks! The colors around here seem to be better than recent years past. Or maybe it's just my outlook!

Man, I am only 150 miles south from you and our leaves go from a pretty green to dead and brown overnight. No color at all.

The East Texas colors were also as pretty as I have seen them in years.

Yep, they's purty alrite! Mine too. And still turn'ng. Dry weather causes more reds me thinks.

Hey, Dave! I'm comuting with the KLR these days! What a blast (wind blast that is....) Was purty cool this am, 31 at the house. Widder helped me out though. You still thinkin' KLR?

Hey senyor, I am still thinking. But it won't happen until next year - too many projects to finish first plus getting Kathy's foot healed from her surgery. Let's do lunch sometime though - Rib Place?

Do they make an aftermarket windscreen for the KLR?

I'll give you a call one o these days soon. Rib Place sounds goood.

Yes, several aftermarket screens but most agree that the stocker is the most quiet and the bigger ones dont offer all that much more protection. I

Got too chilly for the KLR though, switched back to the LT for heated seat and grips. 23deg this am....still a good comute though.

Congrats, Dave. You have the great good fortune to live in the prettiest valley in Kendall County!
