I have a Motocomm unit that works great, and the headsets and mic's perform well. Just wondering if there is any kind of cable that I can use to interface these headsets with the BMW Comm system on my LT.

It's the older style that sits over the radio in the stingray...BC-1.

I would just like to use the BC-1 setup because it makes more sense to me to plug and play without extra cables dangling about.

6 pin connectors on each end, just a different physical size and pin config.

Any ideas would greatly be appreciated.

Somewhere around the house I have the pinout for the older LT intercom and the Motocomm headset. I'll look for them tonite when I get home. I emailed Motocomm and asked them for the headset pinout and they sent to me no questions asked.

Kind of off the subject, but I'm wondering why I couldn't take a bluetooth cell phone converter thingy and wire it into the Motocomm, then gut a bluetooth headset and wire that into the Motocomm headset, thus converting the Motocomm into a bluetooth intercom system. Hey, it's a thought....

Thanks Doug...been quite some time since I tested my soldering abilities, but I guess that would be my only route.

Now to find some cables and plugs to butcher...uggghhh..... :(

I think I found all the diagrams. Let's see if I can attach them now.
