Just ordered them from affordablemotorcycletires.com. Came in at $350 with shipping. I usually do business with swmoto tires, but he doesn't have them.
The Conti Road Attacks aren't wore out yet, but I like to be ready instead of waking up one day and cursing my stupidity. I like the Conti's just fine, but like a kid in a candy store, want to try a different flavor. Especially after so many years of of limited flavors on the LT.

Can't wait to read your impressions of the PR2s. I may try them next since Avon seems to be struggling with quality control on the storms (though mine are fine).

Joe suggested the Avons. I need rubber. What's best for 2-up wet cold riding?

take Joe's advice. I've had them on the LT for 5,000 now and they are great for the crappy road conditions here (seems that Wayne County is going cheap chipping and sealing everything). They are very sticky and are lasting better than I thought. I'm starting to regret my post to Zeke on them lasting 12,000 but who knows, time will tell. Iron Pony does carry them. They were the cheapest when I bought.

I'm getting them just because I can.... if they ever show up.
I've been running Conti Road Attacks which have just been great wet or dry.... no cold here, though. Oh yeah, I've got about 7 thou on them and may, MAY, get another thou... or no.
