I wonder if we are free anymore? I just spent two hours trying to get two ink cartridges on board. We are loading two barges with chemicals at a plant in NOLA.
I had a technician at the gate of the plant and a deckhand on the levee and the plant finally allowed us to transfer cartridges. They wanted a fax listing of employees. Since we wanted to email a list but they did not have an email address.
The security guard could have inspected the package and allowed the tech to hand the cartridges to my hand but because of protocol. Finally the technician handed them to the guard and the guard handed them to the hand, who returned to the boat.
The funny part is if I wanted to blow up the plant my empty barges make much better bombs than ink cartridges, cause all you have to do is light a match and BOOM!!!!!
