iWay 500c Rebate

I was in the market for a GPS for Rufus and after much research and mental thrashing I decided to look for the best price I could get on a Lowrance iWay 500c. I won't go into my reasons for choosing the 500c but I already own two Garmin hand held units I was surprised I actually ended up making this decision.

I saw that someone else on the forum had picked one up on eBay for $550 and I didn't see anything close to that anywhere on the web so I started looking there. I watched a couple of units that were listed under $600 but they were both used items and one looked like it might be a stolen item.

I am planning on doing a mass farkle installation over the Christmas Holidays so I finally decided to make the jump and go with the lowest priced new unit I could find. I got one this morning for $609. I just got a little surprise via e-mail. The seller sent me my receipt and along with it was a $100 rebate form :). I hadn't seen anything about it on the Lowrance web site so this came as a total surprise. The offer is good from today through 1/31/06 so if anyone is in the market for an iWay 500c now is a good time to buy one.
