Sounds like a REAL bargain! Being that my 2GB CF card only cost $100. http://www.advrider.com/forums/images/icons/Wicked.gif

things are cheaper when you own a inferior product like the 26** series instead of a far superior product like the 2/376 series

The not being able to use the USB card programmer seems like a bummer to me. Hell, I never program the 376C (or the SPIII) from the unit. Ah well, progress!
I suppose everyone knows about the 2730?

nope didn't know about the 2730, I'll look at it, Garmin now has the 512mb card on the site so does GPS City, they are taking orders for them for the release date, I don't think programming the data card in the unit will be too bad, heck you really only need to do it once in a while. and Iusually bring in my gps cause I download routes to it when ever i program a data card

Throwing the maps on the card while in the 376C is a snap and much faster transfer rate than the card programmer anyway.
This to me is a non issue.

I ordered the 512 MB card from www.tvnav.com (http://www.tvnav.com/)
Darrel indicated they should have them in stock soon.
