We are not alone.

Next time someone brags up Honda's reliability and vast dealer network, send 'em here:

I guess I am glad that I go to BMW of Denver. Definately not the same type of experience.

Hmm.. I didn't know that the GW had final drive problems. Guess that is just not common knowledge.

Let's see: Final drive problems, horrible gas mileage, no power windshield..... and very bad service attitude.

I am just running to the next Honda dealer to trade in my LT...

That just more proof that anything mechanical can and will fail eventuallyI am just running to the next Honda dealer to trade in my LT...I love my LT but here's a couple of quotes in the article I found interesting:

This is NOT a jab - but a point of info - with the HD warranty service,
hotel rooms/meals ARE included in your warranty - so there's likely a bit
more "push" on HD's part to get you back on the road.

Honda is going to cover everything, under the original factory warranty.
Honda Riders club is going to reimburse me for the cost of towing
and up to $500.00 of motel meals and rental car expenses

And most of us would be "happy" if BMW just acknowledged that there was a problem!!!
