My first post here... First of all thank you all for the wealth of information... I've been riding BMW's since 1987 but this is my first LT, coming from the KRS and KGT world.
To the point:
I'm hoping that someone has installed a J&M headset in their helmet and connected it to a Baehr LT intercom system.
Obvious question why get J&M headset? Well the Nolan N-102 w/N-com fits a J&M headset perfectly eliminating a good deal of hacking away at the helmet...
Thanks in Advance! :)

I am certainly no authroity on the subject, but I tried to do the reverse and was told that J&M and Baehr are do not work or play well together. I liked the smaller mic and speakers and wanted to put Baehr headset with the BMW comm system.

It works great!
I bought a new Nolan 102 and tried to get the old Baehr headset to work- no dice. I thought about buying a boom mike to work with the headset unit. However, I got tired of playing with the Baehr connectors and threw the whole headset away and got the J&M Universal headset.
The headset I bought had the upper cord included but I had to purchase the lower cord that connects to the Baehr unit seperately. You need to order the PEB lower cord. I bought mine from the a great motorcycle supply store. He had to special order it from J&M because he didn't have it in stock (my luck!).
I think all total I paid almost $200 for the step up including tax.
Great sound - bulletproof connectors.
Go for it!
Here is link to cyclegadgets website. You may be able to also get them Raffy but I'm not sure if he carries J&M products. http://www.cyclegadgets.com/Products/product.asp?Item=JM-HS
