Well I finally did it, while removing the pillion seat I put one bolt on the dash only to watch it disappear into the bowels of the beast.:o Been through it with a flashlight with no joy.:( Now if one of you fine gentlemen could tell me the size of the bolt it sure would help, I'd hate to ride all the way to the dealer for a bolt.
It looks like it may be a 6mm x 30mm but I'm not sure any help would be appreciated.

Hope this helps :) shows as costing $0.28

Thanks alot, I forgot all about the online OEM parts list.:o I guess CRS is really setting in. Two brain dead moves in one day, I think maybe I had better just go quietly to my room before something else happens.

Thanks again for the help.

If the dealer is too far just take the other bolt to your local hardware store and match it up...

I lost both of those bolts when I did my clutch. I got some metric valve body bolts at the shop. Sure comes in handy at times. I save every metric bolt I can get my hands on....... :D

I did the exact same thing the first time I took off the seat. Now I put a cloth underneath it. I rode it with one less bolt for a very long time with no problems, and I don't think you would ever have an issue doing so either. However, I did go to my local independant hardware store and found the exact same bolt for about $.50. I even bought a few extra, so if you can't find them somewhere, message me and I will send you one.

Thanks everyone, went to the auto parts store and bought 3 for $1.25. Replaced the screw and went for a ride and when I came back I found the original screw halfway down the driveway, go figure. Oh well got plenty of spares now. :o

Thanks Again.
