fogged visor solution?

It's starting to get a little cooler in the mornig in the Northeast so the old fogged visor is driving me nuts again. :(

Other than leaving the visor open a bit, what do you use/do to prevent fogging?

I've tried some of the spray and wipe products, with unsatisfactory results.

I use a Fog City insert - double glazing for visors and it works a treat. They even come light reactive, but the reactive part only lasts about 2 years if you're lucky - not worth the extra imo.

I asked this back in May and some people recommended using Cat Crap.

No...not the real stuff. It is used for ski goggles among other things I assume. I have seen it at Eastern Mountain Sports.

I haven't tried it yet but I have also heard good things from skiers.

I think they named it correctly. I never got it to work here in the wet (used to be) humid South East. The pin lock system on the new Shoei Multitec works just fine - or is the only one so far that I have found that does work. The only time I have seen the Cat Crap work was on the goggles of a Harley rider - at least he said he could see after we stopped and tried it.

I used one system that turns all available moisture into a mucus like slime that you can watch slide down the inside of your face shield as you ride. Good stuff. I still have some if you want to try it. A mostly full bottle of clear fluid with two applicators. Free - you pay shipping. All sales final - no warranty expressed or implied.
