Are there any riders in the Houston area (I'm from Alvin) that has installed the HID lighting that would be willing to help me do the job on my LT? I'm currently working over in Port Arthur but I can come home anytime to get it done. thanks in advance, Barry

You could go to the RTE next Sat the 15th. I could help after that.
Or some other Sat.
Oct. 13 looks open for now.

I'm in Friendswood and would like to watch the deed, fetch tools and beer, etc. when you start the project.

As some one who is in no way, shape or form mechanically inclined, I can atest to the fact that the install of the HID from CQlights is EASY!
I did mine by myself in under an hour. It was a snap!
If you follow the directions as posted by Messy13, you really can't go wrong.
Here is the thread and it's even complete with pics: http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/articles.php?action=viewarticle&artid=16
Good Luck!

If you or Barry in Alvin have a garage or carport to use,I can bring the tools needed. Why not do yours too...it's $80 well spent.

I have a garage but it is stuffed with remodeling crap to the point where I have to shoe horn the LT in. And my HOA would have their lawyer on my butt if I did anything in the drive way. But, it is really tempting if we can do it in Alvin.
