Working on my fourth LT I had a 1150 ,99, 02 ,and by far the best one a 05 LT.And two GS's an1150 and a 1200.

2001- 24 months- 52,000 miles

2003- 15 months- 53,000 miles

2005(yellow)- 5 months- 21,000 miles- deer strike!- totalled

2005(blue)- 8 months- 23,000 miles thusfar

2000 Champagne K1200LT: Perfect and flawless bike, then I heard they were making a black bike!
2000 Canyon Red K1200LT: My husband's but I had to exercise it for him!
2001 Black K1200LT: Perfect and flawless until the 2005 IBR. Blew the engine, picked up the bike in Las Vegas with new engine and promptly blew the transmission in Reno! It is now the "Perfect Long Distance Bike".
2005 Dark Graphite Metallic K1200LT perfect and pin stripped and mildly farkled. After going nearly three months without a bike to ride I talked myself into a spare bike. It is used only as a daytime ride around town bike. It is nice to push a button and have everything locked. I am trying very hard to KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid)!!
