Here goes Randy riding the G650 X-Country up the stairs in the lobby. This was only after they ran through the lobby and up the escalator on their little skateboard scooter.

That's the meanest, most insensitive video I've ever watched. http://s3.amazonaws.com/advrider/bncry.gif

Here's Joe on his visit to Silver Dollar City (about 100 miles southwest of Tan-Tar-A)

Those crazy guys!I'm still surprised that the powers-that-be at TTA didn't rein in our friends from Chicane. I mean, it's one thing to ride the little gas-powered scooter through the lobby and up and down the escalator, but to run a full-size bike inside? The entertainment value was high, but there is some risk to riding it inside.

A bunch of us had a lot of laughs outside when the Chicane guys had time trials on the scooter. There was even a sidewalk that got ramped at one point. That little scooter could move...

That little scooter could move...I am surprised that they were allowed to do it as well. I enjoy reasonable hooliganism as much as anyone, but risking damage to the hotel, the rider and the bike to be given away is not something I can condone. Speaking for the Board of Directors for Curve Cowboy Reunion, I regret that no one put a stop to this. The last thing we need to do is set a precedent for abuse of our host hotel's property. I would hope that, in the future, our attendees and/or our BOD members will have the presence of mind to put a lid on this kind of behavior in the future.

I realize this picture is a bit of a set-up, but the reality is that viewing this image, by Tan-Tar-A or any future venues, would not present our organization or attendees in a very positive light.

For the record, the hotel management is aware of this incident and is not particularly pleased with it. When we negotiate with properties to host our reunions, one of the things we stress is that the caliber of our group will amaze them. We tell them that our group is well behaved and will not cause the kind of problems associated with some other groups of motorcycle riders. We were the first motorcycle group ever considered for an offer from Grand Teton National Park, this only happened because of the references we received from prior reunions. We created the organization Curve Cowboy Reunion in 2001. Among the specific goals of our organization is that of promoting a positive image of motorcycling. I am hopeful we will all remember that when we gather next year at Zermatt Resort. This is a new and beautiful property that I hope we will leave with the same lasting positive impression as we did at each of our prior reunions.

We are just a couple of years from our tenth anniversary of the reunions, so far without a blemish. I am hopeful we can continue that trend.

I consider Randy and Lou Klamm to be my friends and I am not being critical of them. They were caught up in a moment where no cooler heads prevailed. I am hopeful that in the future, all of our board members as well as the attendees, will respect and reflect the awesome overall quality of this community. We can still have fun, and even raise a little hell, but hopefully we can be respectful of other's property. There is nothing wrong with holding the line of restraint and propriety and reminding others of the same, when they choose to dance against that line.

Quite frankly, I thought the pic was a total setup...basically a hoax. Now to learn that it wasn't is blowing my mind. In a word . . . YIKES! (See what happens when I don't show up!) ;)

Perhaps this pic should get yanked. Better yet, this whole thread...

Besides, I don't think it was that Chicane guy at all. I hear it was really Joe Frog in disguise :D
