In the vain attempt at staving off post CCR depression, I googled Texas Air Shows. Thought I'd ride out to one Saturday. Not a single, steenkeen, steekless air show to be had. Good grief. What is a homey to do?

Come over to Tyler to the Longriders MC clubhouse on Satuday. We'll either be eatin, or fixin to eat! PM for directions if you wanna hang out with some cool bikers and party like a fool. Bring your thong.

Well, Griffy, you're in luck. Southlake Texas is hosting the Kiwanis Butterfly festival this weekend, you can play in a 600-square foot enclosure with "thousands of butterflies."


You can make "engine noises" if you want to...

I got the Saturday thang figured out: Muscle car show at the old Eisenhauer Flea Market and then on to Stinson Field where they have a 30,000 foot hangar of WWI, etc. planes.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't the fact that Grif wore the thong that upset her Honor, it was when he offered it to her as a token of her evening with the group that put her off. :eek:

Well, if it's stationary planes you want, you could head on down here to LaMark at 0800 for the Space Riders' Monthly Breakfast and then go on down to Scholes Field on Galveston Island to go to the Lone Star Flight Museum. Should be nice with only the usual 30% chance of rain in the afternoon (down here that means that it will rain 30% of the time). :cool:
