Two things stood out in the article:
1) providing owners with free pickup and delivery
2) target of 329,000 motorcycles for 2005

They were just lucky on that issue...I guess as soon as someone started the bike and it lurched forward they grabbed the clutch back in...I'm surprised that someone stopped thinking it was in neutral, didn't just let go of the clutch...what a "wake-up call" that would have been.

1) That's easy to do when the average owner lives within 20 miles. BMW can't say that.
