The just arrived BMW ON magazine notes our own Ernie Azevedo has joined the official 100,000 mile club (little do they know he's at about 120K now!) - congrats to Ernie and Pauline. BTW Ernie, when did you move to Wisconsin anyway?

Thanks for the update Denny. We will not be relocating to Wisconsin. We are however in Oklahoma City tonight and making our way back home. We went from Tan-Tar-A to Tuscalousa to visit our Daughter and Son-in-law. We also toured the Barber Motorsports Museum (http://www.barbermuseum.org/). All I can say is WOW!!! We left yesterday and stayed at Pauline's Brother's house in Blytheville, AR. Leaving there this morning we faced thunderstorms and threats of tornados as we approached Little Rock. We had to sit out some of the storms for nearly 3 hours at a gas station restaurant. We decided to press on to OKCity for the night. Whew!

We should be able to get to southern Colorado tomorrow. See you all soon. BTW, the mileage turned over 124k this evening.:D

Hi Ken,

I'll pass on the good wishes to Pauline. After all she has been on most all of the miles too. Tonight we are in Pueblo CO. The ride here was uneventful. OK was a whole like Kansas on the way out. Tomorrow we ride into the Rockies. Fun is ahead of us as we take 50 through the mountains. We will slow it down a bit for the next two days and see some sights.

Later, Ernie and Pauline

I'm sitting in New Orleans, after visiting family in Arkansas and Texas. I'll be heading back west sometime Friday evening and will probably just push on through. I'd sure take those Colorado mountains over I-10 though. :)

I did pick up a few interesting stories along the way, though they're probably best told after I get home and can upload the appropriate pics.

Thanks Dan,

We are working our way back home and clickin' off the miles. We are going to see her turn over 1.25k tomorrow somewhere around Arches NP. Today we cruised around the mountain passes and settled into a room in Gunnison, CO.

We should all get together for dinner when we get back and compare CCR notes. :D

I was thinking that a dinner was in order as well. I'll do some checking around.
