Here are some brew pubs near CCR 2008. I have been to all three, some more than once.
My favorite brew from Wasatch is Polygamy Porter
My favorite brew from squatters is Capt Bastards Oatmeal Stout
Redrock usually has 11 to 12 beers to sample.
I was amazed to discover these are all 3.2 alcohol but they have great taste.

I've had a Polygamy Porter t-shirt for years. I saw someone else wearing one at CCR this year. "Brings some home to the wives" that just slays me...
Of course with more than one wife I suppose it would take some extra drinking to get through the day.
I would think that the Booze Brothers might be able to get a sign up and a shuttle/bus all set up to be able to have a "night out" on the town.

Deb and I were in Boise most of this past week for job interviews. CCR 08 would sure be convenient if this is the place for us. I made it to three fine establishments while I was there: Ram, Tablerock and Bittercreek Ale House. I wasn't able to make it to a couple of others that were recommended but I did check out the local homebrew supply house. I was very pleased to find Boise would suit me fine. I'll have to start a saving account for air fares back to family however. Fortunately Grif and the South Central folks plan ahead on most tech sessions so I'll be able to ride back for most of them. Here are some brew pubs near CCR 2008. Now THAT sounds like a brilliant idea! :thumb: Does Zermatt have a bus they can drag us around in? I don't know if Floyd's son can borrow a 737 from Southwest and taxi us around in that. :histerica
Now, we'll still go back to the resort and drink scotch, right? :snork :D

I'm sure the few of us who are interested in this could arrange anything with Lee at the hotel. I'm sure for the right amount of $20 bills, Lee would arrange anything for us. ;)
Hell, it's still 356 days away, and here we are planning like it's tomorrow. I don't think we've had this much enthusiasm for a location since Grand Teton (even though Chateau Elan had some pretty good enthusiasm going for it).
