View Full Version : Who the hell is David Adler?

A question that came up many times.
The answer is very complex.
First, David is one of the "originals", who has attended CCR since Broken Bow.
Second, he's an accomplished dancer. Those of you who's husbands wouldn't dance with you were probably swept off your feet by the amazing dance moves of David.
Third, he's the guy who has donated the name badge holders for the past two years. Taking us from the generic plastic namebadges of past into a new era of a usable badgeholder to keep you cell phone, room key, and other goodies.
Believe it or not, even simple badge holders will cost the organization $500 per event. David really helps us out when he picked up the cost for this out of his own pocket. So here's to David! Thank you so much for your continued support!

I had been interested in an LT every since I was passed by 1 on the interstate. Had been riding a 78 kz1000 for 60k miles. Me and the so had all
but the youngest off to college so we always wanted to travel as we did on
the kz when we were younger. Rode some sport tourers and found then 2 small for us and the wings just not cool. Saw Dave's add on cycletrader. Called him up and his enthusiasm for the LT sold me. He drove the bike 200 miles to meet me half way. I purchased it from him and he set me up with service tapes and this web site. Had a few issues with the bike and he made
good on it. Happy riding ever since. The kind of guy that restores your faith in humanity

I'm wondering why David doesn't hold a dance lesson seminar at CCR 08!

I marvel at your opening statement, "I ALLOWED"!! If the wife heard you say that she'd probably hit you up side the head and remind you who the boss really is!

I was fortunate enough to dance with Dave several times at CCR this year. I'd love to take lessons with him.
Oh, and Dave, I'll wear the RIGHT shoes next year. Please put me down on your dance card!!! :p I promise, I can "follow" very well.

Mr. Adler with Dave Dragon's better half. Seems everytime Dave left the room to go check on Sue's wine thing-a-ma-jig, David was tapping here on the shoulder.

A few years ago, I ran across Dave at the BMW MOA.... well the band started to play...a real good band too!.... well at MOA the men outnumber the women about 500 to 1...
After about four songs and no one dancing, we observed there where several women just sitting there and moving there bodies and feet to music, but there mates or SOs, didn't dance I quess.... Dave even ask, to no avail....then he turned to me and said... I be back in a minute...on the next song...I looked and Dave all along was dancing on the floor....before the song was over there where four women dancing with him..... Dave never sat down the rest of the night,
I can't tell the rest of the story...:)

Of all the things I missed about not being able to attend CCR this year, dancing with David Adler is <sniffle sniffle> perhaps what I missed the most.
