Had the last 5 weeks in Wales based in the South, (Brecon) Central West, (Dolgellau) and Central East, (Llangollen). Other than being unable to pronounce almost all Welsh names, :) what a fantastic place. Richly deserving of its reputation for excellent roads. We went on day rides of up to 250 miles leaving our trailer behind at the camp site or B&B. Enjoyed every one too. Traffic density is high now due to school holidays, but they finish next week so hopefully things will revert to normal. Road surfaces generally are excellent, and I guess when you have so many mountains to go around, curves are the order of the day. Ahhh bliss. Well populated by other bikes, but riding styles vary from relaxed touring ( us ) to OTT and utterly out of control. They loose one or two each week, self regulating I guess. To their credit though, ATGATT is the order of the day, generally colour matched to the bike. Sorry not to include pics now, but our connection speed is soooo sloooow. At present in the lakes district for the next couple of weeks to explore. Cheers.

Hilton, plsd to hear you enjoyed Wales. Why not PM me with contact details now you're up north and we can organise a mini Curve Shepherd Reunion - I'm sure I can rustle up a couple of local LT's.

I enjoyed North Wales and there are lots of nice roads in the Lakes or head for the Dales. If my bike was in one piece I would have welcomed the opportunity to meet you. If you head any further north let me know and I will arrange soemthing.

Regards
