Just picked up a Battery Tender Jr. at Pep Boys. 29.95.. not too bad.

I am going to install the pigtail on the LT and also use the clamps on my Jag

Question is: Can I alternate a week at time on the tender? A week on the bike then a week on the Jag?

The Jag gets driven only once in a while because of the price of gas.

The big charger if left on too long will only burn up the battery..

Thanks,

Spence

I don't see why not. The tender JR., IIR, charges at 0.75 amps per hour. So it will take longer to charge up a depleted battery. But once charged it will maintain it.

My Battery Tender Plus rotates between my LT, Ninja, and lawn tractor during the snowy months.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I don't think either one of them will deteriorate enough in a week that the Jr can't pick back up ...

Thanks Guys,

It wouldn't hurt to make sure the LT's ignition is turned all the way to 'OFF'. And if you could turn off the alarm and immobilizer, that would be good too.
