Hi Guys thanks for all your comments, :rolleyes: I think the Blue is fast enough for me.
Just been for my 600 service now getting on for 800 miles I mentioned to the dealers about a small knock from the engine that only apparent when the throttle is just burley open sounds to me like pinking or piston slap ( scarey )
I got all the comments about have you put the rite fuel in,
and let it get run in before you start worrying, someone from sales said buy a set of ear plugs
no one seemed to take me seriously and thought I was hearing things and that it would go away on its own.... I wasn't impressed
But I road there loan bike that just about everybody has thrashed, it sounded sweeter than mine ???

This noise has been there from the start, and I know what I can hear
I am about to make a big fuss... :mad:..... but thought I would ask you guys first

Still really love the bike to bits... Maybe Im paranoid

I think my bike vibrates a little more than it should, but I expect it to smooth out with some more miles or the next valve adjustment and TB synch at 6000. I installed some manic salamander bar end weights and that helped a little.

I do find it interesting that the demo bike was quieter. I'd give a few thousand more miles. Be sure to ride it hard occasionally to break it in properly. I'd swear my biek gets a little smoother after I flogged it to redline a few times when passing a slower car.
