I have to admit, today I didn't. Raining in buckets, and the temperature is supposed to drop quickly after dark (dark is getting to be around the same time I leave work now).
Up until today, I have been. Early morning temps between 25 and 30F, but it's been dry enough not to have to worry about the dreaded Black Ice.

Yeppers. since buying the Gerbings I don't care if it is in the 30's when I go to work. After all, being in Dallas that means it will prbaly be in the mid 60's by afternoon.

Yes I did ride... to West Valley BMW only to be told they could not give me an estimate on the repairs for my bike after the rear-en/sandwich incident as they are too small and don't want to take on new customers.:( Then to Hollywood BMW where I got a much warmer reception and got set up with an appointment to bring the bike back...
All this is so going to impact my riding...!

Morning temps in the high 20's, afternoons in the low 60's. Bright sunshine all day long and not a cloud in the sky! I'm sorry to say my poor old LT is sitting in a back corner of the garage while I'm out exploring the high desert on my new V-strom. I hear it's snowing back in North Idaho. :D

Rode to work this morning, thermo read 29 degrees at startup. Quick ride in to work. Then one of my fellow biker nuts said lets go for a ride. He is on a GXR. We were gone for about 40 mintues when we pulled over and he asked if he could warm up on my bike. So we sat for ten minutes on a dead end waiting for him to warm up bit and off we went. The Thermo never read above 33 degrees. Some ice patches to negociate but nothing we could not handle. Happy Turkey All.

Is the Pope Catholic? Of course. The temps here in Denver have been running in the mid to high twenties for lows with highs ranging in the high sixties to low seventies. :) We expect good riding weather until Sunday when there is a 50% chance of snow. :( Colorado's best kept secret is its weather. Skiing in the mountains and motorcycle riding in Denver and the plains! :yeah:

Yes - It is the day after Thanksgiving and I was one who had to be at work. A lovely 23F and very little traffic made for a very nice ride. Everyday, year round as long as the ice and snow stay away. Occasionally have had to ride home in the snow. No problem staying warm - as long as I can stay away from the ice.

Yup rode again today, was about 25 degrees. I stayed on the main roads because we had snow yesterday. Just wanted to make sure I did not happen on some ice. Roads were very clean and dry. My wife was a little worried however. She did not think it was such a good idea. What can I say I am addicted.

I did ride the LT today, for the first time in 3 weeks. Recently had my gall bladder out and wasn't cleared for "unrestricted activity" by the doc until Tuesday of this week. Today was the first day I've had the chance to even think about riding. Thus, "yes" I did ride it.
And "no", I didn't really ride it -- it was only a four-mile round trip to run a quick errand, and the 26 degree day here in central Ohio, with my limited riding apparel choices, really made it more of an endurance than a "ride".
Still, it was fun to get back on the LT. Think I'll be doing some shopping for Gerbings gear real soon.

Rode from Greenville, NC to Philadelphia with a back track of 108 miles to pick up a misplaced handbag, total 550 miles. Max temperature 43 degrees minimum 28 degree. Riding back tomorrow, hopefully without the need to retrieve misplaced luggage. Temperatures expected i to be in the 40's. All I have to say is Gerbings are great!

Yes I did. Did a childrens charity ride that started and ended at a bar. It great that the bar owners organized this event but it might be a good idea to start the dide sooner than 1:00 PM so people wouldn't have as mouc time to ddrink befor they ride. I don't drink much and rarely if I am going to ride. I was the only BMW in the group. As a matter of fact the only other non Harley was a Gold Wing and we both gave every one else plenty of room.
with all tyhat said, it was, as always great to get out and ride even at 40 deg.

Had a nice ride today with my son as my 2 up backseater..Day after Thanksgiving..He's got a K1200RS and he's visiting me for the Thanksgiving holiday so we went out for ride together..you know, the father/son thing..Picture this..Me, the old fart, with his son 2up on a spin around Lake Mead on a beautiful clear day just enjoying our bonding experience (can you feel the love??)..After the ride, my son gave me a thumbs up on my handlng of the LT and he's been riding for quite awhile(longer than I)..Man, my chest is bursting with pride from his positive comments..Life can't be any better than that except,of course, when I'm out on a ride. As the Corbin saying goes, RIDE ON!!

I'll take "uncomfortably cool" over ice and snow. I envy all y'all down south this time of year.
Area roads are actually decent the last couple of days. We've had several rounds of flurries but no additional accumulation. I may take a ride after church today; forecast is for a high of 30 w/a 30% chance of flurries.

You are right about the weather in Atlanta today. We took a ride up to Fort Mountain (east of Chatsworth, Ga). From the lookout area you could see for miles. The temperature was 42 on top but sunny, no wind and clear. Warmed up to 57 by the time we rode down to Ellijay. Arrived home in time to get in a wash and dry. The top of the mountain had a lot of salt residue because of the recent ice storm that hit Atlanta earlier this week.
May we never see the end of the road!
