I am really excited. On Sunday I am meeting up with an old army buddy who I rode motorcycles with in the late 70's in Germany. I recently found him thru the internet and we have spoken a few times. We have not seen each other in 27 years.Anyway I am riding down and meeting up with him in Johnson City, Tn. then we are going to ride up to my house in Northern Kentucky, stay here a few days then ride down to North carolina. I have been defining a route back home on back roads thru south eastern Ky along Rt. 421 thru Cawood and Burning Springs up to Rt. 11 then over to Rt 52 then up thru Paris and onto my home in Union. Anybody rode Ky. 421, 11 or 52 and how was it?
Thanks all

I believe you are referring to US421 that goes through Kentucky. I rode it a few years back and it is one of the great motorcycling roads in my opinion. I highly reccomend it. One of the things I liked about it is the curves (lots and lots of them) are all nice sweepers that should not cause you to soil yourself like you see on the dragon. Its a nice long, easy, and fun road. I took it from Lexington down into Tennessee before I broke off to go to Knoxville. BTW I will be riding that road come this time next year on my way to the SMoky Mountains.

Enjoy and let me know how you liked it
