Well, since there aren't enough threads about eating in here... :D

I think its time we got this band of motorcycling maniacs together for a meal again! How about St. John’s on Lawrence Expressway. 11:30 on Thursday, 8/23. Email me and let me know if you can make it. Hope to see you there!

I have a delivery in Sunnyvale tomorrow at Cherry Orchard Apartments on El Camino Real. I'll have time for lunch while waiting for Cort to deliver furniture before I get to do my thing.:)

Excellent, Roger! It'll be good to see you again! St John's is less than 10 minutes from Cherry Orchard.

So, do you have any SVLB rules like attending at least two lunches to become an unofficial member?:D This will be my first so I'll be looking for another one real soon.

And speaking of Cherry Orchard Apartments, I had a fun day there about 3 years ago. I was parked ass end first in a space. About an hour or so after I was done delivering my unit, I exited my space a little too much to the right and hit a fire hydrant with my right rear tire, which blew out. The water was reaching heights two to three times the height of my van and filled the parking lot with water which flowed all the way out to the street.:p Luckily, there was a Pep Boys store just down El Camino Real to fix me up with a new tire.:)

Just about the time I hit the hydrant and was waiting for someone from the apartment maintenance department to turn off the water, my brother called me to tell me his son was just born.:) I couldn't convince my bro to name his son Hyde Durrant Moore or anything like that.:p:) At least he didn't name him Lon, as in Lon Chaney.

Nope no rules, just show up, eat, talk and have a laugh or two. That's proof enough you fit in with this crowd.

Now, we may ask you to park a little ways away from the bikes... :histerica

I must be getting old....I was there, looking for it, couldn't find it...a bit dim I expect. Pissed me off no end as I had been looking forward to meeting the locals.

Sigh.

Sorry about that. I was watching for a wandering soul; we were out on the patio which you can see from the parking lot. St John's is tucked back in the corner of that strip mall; they had the grill going out front BBQing chicken. Oh well, we'll get you next time!
