Looking for new riding gear.

Has anyone tried the Tourmaster Flex jacket and pants.

Advertisement said they are good for summer and fall weather. Using zipout liner.

I have the Flex jacket and really like it'A bit of a pain doing all the zippers for the outer cover, but it beats carrying rain gear.I ride with it as a mesh all summer and zip in the water proof liner as needed.Cold weather zip in the quilted liner and it's toasty warw.I think it's probably better than my HD FXRG leather jacket.

You might want to look at the Olympia Airglide. My wife and I have both have them. I have had the first gear and although it is a good product I love the Airglide It's cool in the warm, warm in the cold and it's also rain gear.

My wife and I both have the Flex Jacket. As was said, alot of zippers, but works well.

Ours are gray. My only complaint is visability. Other jackets with yellow or orange are more visable to the cages.

I bought the Flex thinking it would be the perfect jacket. Unfortunately it's not as water repellant as First Gear's cordura jackets. I found that it would be easier to wear my First Gear mesh jacket and if it really starts raining hard and I need to keep moving I put a rain jacket over my mesh jacket. With the Flex, I tried zipping in the panels and putting on the liner, but it took a lot longer than just putting a rain jacket over. With all the panels zipped out, it's not as cool as a full mesh jacket as it has cordura all over the top and along the back of the arms. With the quilted liner in, it's too tight. Zipping the panels on and off takes too much time. I think it's good for non rainy weather and moderate weather where you may want a mesh during the heat of the day and panels for early morning and late afternoon riding. In Miami, I'm sorry I bought it. It does beat carrying two jackets but down here, it's too hot and wet in the summer.
